The constellation of Aquarius is the water bearer. When you join the stars of the constellation of Aquarius you will get a water bearer. It looks like a small boy with one hand dangling down is carrying water. Sometimes it is also considered as a cup bearer, and the old mythology behind is that the cup was being taken to the mount of Olympia. Even the Egyptians identify the Aquarius constellation through the water bearer sign.

There are several major stars in the Aquarius constellation like the Big Dipper which falls in the Ursa Major. The Little Dipper falls in the Ursa Minor, and Keystone which falls under Hercules, and the Pleiades which is actually closer to Taurus. Some of the brightest stars that are visible to the naked eye are the Centaurus, which has 101 stars, and the largest of the constellation in this group is the Hydra, which actually is the name for a water snake. It covers a large portion of the sky. Some of the stars can be seen with naked eye and other can only be seen through special telescopes. A planetarium would be an ideal place to learn about Aquarius.
