Prophecy if translated into different languages will mean the same. The word might have had its origin from some place but ultimately sends out the same message. You are encouraged to prepare yourself in such a way that eventually ready to face any given unforeseen event. Most of the times prophecy is made use to simply predict and put God’s judgment on evil sin. Both active and passive aspects are equally dealt off. Human beings must and need to co-operate with God to maintain and create the perfect environment. The reason and need for passive preparation is because it maximizes the chance of any fulfillment.
