You can do this even on the email or the phone. When you meet the client, it becomes a lot easier for you to understand their needs based on the space available.

When you agree for consultation you should also ask the client if there are any specific issues they would like to get solved. Every person has some or the other problems in various aspects of their life. You can offer Feng Shui tips based on those problems.
